Aim High delivers Alternative Education Provision for young people aged 13–25 (with an Education and Health care Plan) who need a different approach to learning.


Aim High offers a supportive, practical environment where learners can gain qualifications, develop life skills, and build confidence for their future.​  We work in specialist settings, including equestrian centres and other animal and country-based learning environments and our programmes are designed to help students who may not thrive in traditional classrooms to achieve their potential.

Currently, our courses are delivered at the Ride High Equestrian Centre in Milton Keynes, with all profits supporting the work of the Ride High children’s charity.

Alternative Education Provision Leader

Salary:          Up to £35,000 dependent on qualifications and experience
Hours:           Full-time, 5 days per week, 40 hours.
Contract:     Permanent
Location:      Loughton, Milton Keynes (site-based)
Start Date:   ASAP

Due to the expansion of our Alternative Education Provision, we’re looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic individual to deliver SEND provision, based at Ride High Equestrian Centre, and to contribute to the development and delivery of our courses.

This role is particularly suited to experienced education professionals (teachers, higher level teaching assistants, lecturers) and others with similar experience who wish to transfer their experience working with children and young people into a rewarding Alternative SEND setting, using animals to facilitate learning.

If you have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working with children and young people, experience of independent planning and delivery of engaging sessions for children and young people and a love of animals and the outdoors then we’d love to hear from you!

​Aim High is committed to the safety of children and young people.  Successful applicants will be required to pass a DBS check and prohibition to teaching check.
