Our courses are delivered at the Ride High Equestrian Centre in Milton Keynes, giving young people aged 13–25 the chance to gain a nationally recognised qualification in a supportive and practical environment.
​
These non-ridden courses are designed especially for students who don’t thrive in traditional classrooms. Learners work outdoors with horses, building both industry skills and essential life skills to help them succeed in the future.​
​
To be eligible to apply students must have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP).

Types of Courses
​
Entry Level Courses:

Minimum age is 13 years (to 25)

Entry Level qualifications are pre-GCSE.
These are practical and hands-on courses for students to help prepare them for the supported work environment. We offer a range of modules for each level, in an accessible way to help build confidence, teamwork, mobility, coordination, fitness and subject knowledge.

Entry Level 2 is the first qualification we offer.
​
Entry Level 3 is the second qualification we offer to students, which supports them to gain qualifications for the workplace.
​
To gain an Entry Level 2 or Entry Level 3 qualification, students will study a set number of credits to gain an award, certificate or diploma.​​​​​​​​

* Please note that the diploma Entry Level Horse Care may include elements of the Animal Care diploma pathway.

Level 1 Courses:
Minimum age is 14 years (to 25)
Level 1 is equivalent to 3 x D-G / 1-3 grade GCSE's.
Level 2 Course (Horse Care):
Minimum age is 16 years (to 25)
Level 2 is equivalent to 5 x A-C / 4-9 grade GCSE's​​​​​​​​​​​​.​​​​​​

Our courses are delivered in partnership with Haddon Training who can also provide Functional Skills (Maths and English) training for students if required.
